Kelly Clarkson has been a singer and songwriter in America for more than twenty years. She won American Idol during the first season. The win brought Clarkson to fame and earned her an agreement with RCA Records 19 Recordings, along with 'S Recordings. In the years since her debut in the series, she has released a number of albums. Of those albums three were ranked first on the US Billboard 200. The others were close to reaching the top position. They consider her to be one of the many of the most popular American Idol artists. As her career progressed, she began experimenting with different themes and styles of music. Often co-writing songs to express her emotions. The uniqueness of her voice and singing talent earned her praise from critics and a number of important award. She was awarded the Grammy Award is her most highly regarded prize. Apart from her professional career as a musician, she's been featured on film and television. She also wrote the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and been involved in various charities.
